About Josh
I am a content strategist who helps teams create user-friendly experiences at scale. Many of my clients lead transformation in healthcare, life sciences, or financial services. I collaborate across clients’ departments to design and facilitate content strategy at the enterprise, channel, and campaign levels.
Currently, I serve as a lead content strategist at MERGE, a full-service marketing agency with deep human-centered design capabilities.
Previously, I worked for NGOs that focused on emergency relief, global development, and education. At IREX, I led the organization's content strategy and oversaw numerous digital properties. At Catholic Relief Services, I led digital strategy for overseas operations and served as a founding member of the content strategy team.
I've also edited book manuscripts for publishing houses and helped to develop digital resources for research libraries. I've built websites since the '90s.
My work has appeared in articles published by 18F, CharityComms, CMSWire, Forum One, Greenpeace, and ICTworks, and in the book Designing Connected Content: Plan and Model Digital Products for Today and Tomorrow, by Mike Atherton and Carrie Hane.
